Our unique service offers early intervention mental health support for employees, delivered by experienced Mental Health Practitioners and Workplace Coaches. We remove the barriers of long waiting lists, high retainer fees, and complex referral systems.

How the Service Works:

  • Referrals are made by the employer (e.g. HR) by emailing the employee’s name and contact details (name/email) to the Training Manager at training@mindinsomerset.org.uk
  • A coach or practitioner will contact the referred employee within 2–3 working days to arrange an introductory session via video or phone.
  • A maximumof 8 sessions can be agreed upon, depending on the individual’s needs. Each session is charged at £55.
  • Optional CBT Counselling: CBT-specific sessions are available at £65 per session. Please confirm approval before engaging.
  • Number of sessions and costs are shared with the referring organisation, and an invoice will be issued accordingly.
  • Where appropriate, employees may be signposted to other support services.
  • Additional sessions may be arranged at the discretion of the employer following an internal review. Mind in Somerset will only offer these with the employer’s instruction.

Terms and Conditions:

  • This is a non-refundable service. All agreed sessions will be invoiced, with up to 6 months to use them.
  • Sessions cancelled with more than 2 working days’ notice may be rescheduled.
  • Sessions cancelled with less than 2 working days’ notice are chargeable and cannot be rebooked.
