Hearing Voices Peer Support GroupsÂ
Our Hearing Voices groups provide a safe place to talk about experiences. All groups are fully facilitated by Mind in Somerset’s active listeners.
Sometimes, experiencing psychosis is distressing and overwhelming, but sharing experiences can help. On the other hand, some may feel that voices are positive and supportive but still need an outlet to share with others.
Our philosophy is to never assume to know how voices and visions affect people individually. Just as we are all different physically, we are also different mentally, and the effects and ways we cope are different.
We hope that people joining our groups will feel safe, accepted and able to share their experiences with others who hear voices.
