Our Hearing Voices groups provides a safe place for you to talk about your experiences, and the groups are fully facilitated by Mind in Somerset active listeners. You may feel that sometimes these experiences are very distressing and overwhelming, but sharing this can help. On the other hand, you may feel that your voices are positive and supportive but still need a outlet to share with other people.
Our philosophy is to never assume to know how voices and visions effect people individually. Just like we are all different physically, we are also different mentally and the effects and the way we cope are different also.
We hope that people joining our groups will feel safe, accepted and able to share their experiences with other voice hearers.
