We’re Mind in Somerset, the mental health charity. Locally, we provide life-changing, face-to-face support to people across the county of Somerset. Nationally, Mind campaigns to raise awareness, promote understanding and drive change. Mind is also the first point of call for information and advice to empower millions of people every year. Together, we won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.
Mind shops
The Mind shop in Taunton is run as a partnership between the national organisation and Mind in Somerset, and accepts clothing, books, records, DVDs, CDs, homeware, linens and children’s games and toys. This means the money raised from our sales helps to support people both in Somerset through the services we provide and nationally through campaigning and providing information. You can find our shops in more than 150 communities around England and Wales, selling high quality items mostly donated by you.
