In response to this, we have created distant learning options for organisations to take advantage of to boost productivity and employee wellness from their own homes:

Online/telephone coaching service:

Our dedicated coaches are ready to take your calls. Here to provide you and your team with 1:1 support and wellbeing strategies to improve the overall mental health and wellbeing of staff within your organisation. We can help your colleagues develop Wellness Action Plans or take steps to increasing self-care for a better work/life balance. This confidential service can receive referrals from individuals themselves or HR/Managers seeking to access support for their colleagues.

Level 1 FAA Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health

This awareness course is suitable for everyone as it provides learners with the knowledge to recognise a suspected mental health condition and the skills to start a conversation and subsequently direct a person towards professional help.

Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health

Learners undertaking this course will be considered as Mental Health Ambassadors for your organisation, providing a point of contact within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition.

This course covers the content of the Level 1 Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health and introduces the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan which allows learners to provide their peers with comprehensive guidance and support for a suspected mental health condition. Learners will be able to provide signposting to professional help and support.

Managing Mental health at Work Half day awareness: HR and senior management

This training course is designed for managers, supervisors and anyone with responsibility for managing people at work, as well as those looking to enhance their CPD. This course is tailored specifically through an initial consultation and focuses on supporting the one in four of the workforce who will suffer from poor mental health each year.

Often the difficulty for managers is knowing how to spot the signs and how to start important conversations. This training equips staff with practical guidance and tools to promote mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. This includes giving managers confidence for when they are providing appropriate support, understanding their legal duties and enabling people with mental health problems to thrive.

Mindfulness for anxiety reduction and relaxation:

1 hour each; 1 – 4 sessions to introduce your colleagues to the power of simple, mindfulness practices that calm the autonomic nervous system, focus the mind and lift mood. We share the brain science behind mindfulness and help participants start or develop their mindfulness practice for improved wellbeing and productivity.

Mental health awareness and Supporting others:

Session 1 (3hours)

  • Risk Factors and Protective factors
  • Mental Health Illnesses
  • Depression – signs and symptoms
  • Looking after own Mental Health
  • Five ways to wellbeing

Session 2 (3 hours)

  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Psychosis
  • Self-Harm
  • Eating disorders
  • (signs and symptoms for all the above)
  • Supporting and signposting
  • Self-Care

Bespoke Workshops :

We are able to offer a range of workshops to increase knowledge and awareness of wellbeing, reduce stress and provide greater resilience in your organisation. Our workshops range between one and two hours, depending on your requirements. Examples include;

Emotion coaching and Tuning into Teens:

These course can run over a number of sessions, which can be delivered once a week or more or less frequently. Stand alone sessions are possible too.

Emotion training can be delivered to staff, young people or parents – providing all of those supporting children with a common approach and language. The course improves communication with young people as well as increasing resilience, helping improve the relationships that the participant has.

Tuning into Teens focuses on the difficulties of adolescence and is suitable for parents or teachers who want to understand and support their young people.
