Our Yeovil Community Day is for anyone experiencing poor mental health who would benefit from attending and participating in group activities or people who just want advice and information. We provide a welcoming place where people can socialise with other people that may be in a similar situation to them, be involved in fun activities or access information, guidance, reassurance and support.
This project is run by the users of the group who plan and organises various activities and help make decisions about how the drop in day is run. The project is not funded through external means but by South Somerset Mind so there are opportunities to be involved in fundraising activities raising much needed funds.
The Community Day runs every Wednesday 9.30am-3.30pm at the Methodist Church, Yeovil (BA20 1JZ). Our helpful and friendly Support Worker, Annie, is also available on the day to offer emotional support and information regarding our services plus signposting to other agencies and services.
