Shared Reading & Self-Care

Tuesdays 2pm-3.30pm

This is a safe and welcoming space to meet new people; on alternating weeks, the focus of the group will be a session of shared reading and exploring how we can improve and maintain our wellbeing through self-care.

Creative Arts Support Group

Tuesdays 11.30am-1pm

This is an open-access creative arts support group, where all ages and experience are welcome. Each week there will be a new theme that we will use to create art. You are welcome to use whatever art media you like, painting, drawing, creative writing, colouring-in etc. At the end of each session, there will be time for you to show and talk about your art if you want to – there is no pressure to talk about your art if you don’t want to. This is a great opportunity to regularly meet online and develop your creative side, in a friendly and supportive environment.

During the lockdown, this group will be via Zoom so you will need to source your art materials such as pens, paints, paper, or whatever you feel like working with.

Craft (Including Crochet and Knitting) Support Group

Thursdays 12.30pm-2pm

Do you know the repetitive, rhythmic hand movement of crochet and knitting can help reduce stress and anxiety? If you would like to learn how to crochet or if you’d like to share your knitting or crochet skills, then please do come along to our group. All ages and experience are welcome. If crochet and knitting are not for you, you are welcome to use whatever craft materials you like, such as embroidery, jewellery making, etc.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet regularly online and develop your craft skills, in a friendly and supportive environment.

During the lockdown, this group will be via Zoom so you will need to source your own craft equipment.

Looking after Me

Thursdays 10am-12pm

Looking After Me is a self-care focused peer support group. The group will run in 12-week blocks, where there will be a focus on recognizing your own needs and learning skills to be able to facilitate better self-care; setting and maintaining boundaries and the chance to create your own self-care box along the way.

Getting Online in a Zoom!

Wednesdays 2.30pm-4pm

Feeling isolated? Frightened by IT? Why not join our group to learn the basics of communicating with others online and having fun using Zoom! Our aim is to give people the confidence to use IT/Zoom and to be able to access more online groups in the future. This group is a safe space to meet like-minded people, where you can talk about day-to-day life, share your hobbies and interests, and take part in quizzes!

1-1 support is available (remotely) to help you through the process of joining the online group.
