Local events artist supports Mind in Somerset
We’re delighted to be working with local events artist and designer Cherise Woods, based in Taunton, Somerset, who is supporting Mind in Somerset through her creative work.
Mental health and wellbeing are deeply personal to Cherise. Growing up, she experienced a challenging start in life and received vital support through Somerset Young Carers and school wellbeing services. More recently, her connection to Mind has continued through her family, with her dad currently receiving support through Mind Somerset — care that has made a meaningful difference to him and to those around him.
Cherise has also recently been diagnosed as autistic and is awaiting an ADHD assessment, as a neurodivergent business owner, she is passionate about giving back to the community and supporting organizations that champion inclusion, understanding, and accessible mental health care. Her decision to donate and explore a partnership comes from lived experience, gratitude, and a strong belief in the importance of local mental health support.
As part of this commitment, £5 from every order will be donated to Mind in Somerset, with donations paid monthly to help support their ongoing work across the county.
