Do you know the repetitive, rhythmic hand movement of crochet and knitting can help reduce stress and anxiety? If you would like to learn how to crochet or if you’d like to share your knitting or crochet skills, then please do come along to our group. All ages and experience are welcome. If crochet and knitting are not for you, you are welcome to use whatever craft materials you like, such as embroidery, jewellery making, etc.
This is an excellent opportunity to meet regularly online and develop your craft skills, in a friendly and supportive environment.
During the lockdown, this group will be via Zoom so you will need to source your own craft equipment.

We are blown away by the incredible James Hoare Music and collaborators who have created this beautiful track Sometimes.
“We want to help young people who’re struggling and we want to inspire them through music.
“Most importantly, we want to get them talking! Especially men who are reluctant to open up as they think it’s macho to suffer in silence.”
They have all had their own mental health struggles and want to encourage people to talk and get support. Sometimes is being used to raise funds for Mind in Somerset if you would like to donate please click on the link below.

Thank you Sara Vian Music for your wonderful fundraising and dedicating such a beautiful song to Mind in Somerset!
The song was originally inspired by the Shepton Mallet Snowdrop Festival song-writing competition in 2020 and co-written with Chris Watson from Music Eye Radio (Frome FM) who discovered a folk tale about how humanity was locked out of the Garden of Eden in bitterest snow until an angel took pity on us and blew life into the snow to create the snowdrop. ...
